We are fortunate to have many active organisations, clubs and groups running in our Community.  Some are listed below with a short despription and who to contact if you would like to get involved.  We encourage all clubs and groups so add their upcoming events, share what they are upto and anything else they would like the community to know.

FIRA- Friends of Inverness Royal Academy

We are a Constituted group of volunteers offering a variety of activities for S1 – S6 school years for ALL those residing in the Stratherrick and Foyers Community Council area who attend any Academy. 

Loch Ness Rural Communities (LNRC)

Loch Ness Rural Communities was set up in 2015 to highlight the land management, employment, wildlife and conservation that goes on in the Straths around Loch Ness.

South Loch Ness Heritage Group

The South Loch Ness Heritage Group was established in 2003. Our aims are to research, promote and safeguard the heritage of the South Loch Ness area, including Stratherrick, Strath Dores and the south side of Loch Ness from Dores to Scaniport and Cullaird.

Stratherrick & Foyers Green Team

Welcome to our Green Team!🌱🌼🍃🌿🌺 A group to bring information and resources to our local area to help become a more environmentally friendly community.♻️✅ Improving health and wellbeing through nature and in a way that is kind to the earth 🌏

Stratherrick Spin and Chatter Group

We are a local community spinning group set up to promote the use of local crofters' and farmers' fleeces where you can learn to prepare fleece for hand spinning and spin into yarn for dyeing, weaving, knitting crochet, or other textile craft.

STRATHGORFOYBRIDGE OUTDOOR SPORTING ASSOCIATION (2019) (SOSA)

SOSA is a constituted Group for over 18's in the Stratherrick and Foyers area.

The Brolly Group

The Brolly Group is made up of representatives from Stratherrick & Foyers Community Trust, Stratherrick & Foyers Community Council, Boleskine Community Care and The Knockie Trust

Wild Crafts

Wild Crafts is a group of local crafters based in Stratherrick, on the South of Loch Ness, in the Scottish Highlands. 

Wildside Baby & Toddler Group

We meet on a Thursday morning at 9:30am-11:30am at The Wildside Centre. All welcome!
