Come and join us for lunch between 12 and 1:30pm every Monday at the Wildside Centre.
Soup to Go is all about bringing our community together. Each week our friendly volunteer staff provide a choice of two hearty soups, freshly baked bread, homemade cakes, tea and coffee all the for cost of £3.00.
Don’t have time to stop for lunch? We offer a collection service, so you can pop in, say a quick hello, and grab your order to go. If you are not able to get to the Wildside Centre due to exceptional circumstances, then our lovely volunteers will deliver your lunch to you.
Ordering your lunch in advance is essential to allow us to provide enough for everyone. Menus, containing all the details of how to order, are posted in advance around the Strath, and on the Soup to Go - Stratherrick Facebook page. All dietary requirements can be catered for, just let us know in advance.
But, our community lunches are about more than just food. Every week we have a local musicians who play for us; we have a small lending library of donated books; we have bingo, games or quizzes too. The main thing is coming together, getting to know each other better and sharing good times.
Fancy volunteering? Everyone is welcome to be a part of Soup to Go. We have many ways you could be involved – from donating ingredients; putting out tables and chairs; delivery driving; looking after our lending library; to writing us a quiz! If you have any ideas about something you could contribute, then we would love to hear from you.
