It’s Business!

The Trust recognises that thriving business and commerce is crucial to the health and happiness of a community. We are unable to, under the terms of our constitution, invest directly in business ventures. However, we can provide support in different ways; financing apprenticeship schemes, looking to our community first when tendering for goods and services, and providing a strong communication channel. 

Community Apprenticeship Scheme

The Trust's Community Apprenticeship Scheme aims to help unemployed local people get into work, and local companies to close skills gaps that they have been finding difficult to fill.  The scheme is run in conjunction with our neighbouring Community Companies at Glengarry and Fort Augustus and Glenmoriston.
