Highland Acupuncture

My name is Johanna Schuster and I founded Highland Acupuncture in 2004, with treatment rooms in Lower Foyers as well as Inverness City Centre.

I offer Traditional Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine.  Most of my acupuncture treatments also include some massage. Cupping and Gua Sha (a form of massage applied with a smooth scraping tool) are often added for joint and muscle aches and pains, as is moxa (a treatment to apply heat).

Massage is also offered as a stand-alone treatment, both for relaxation and as remedial therapy. By focussing on the acupuncture meridians it is also an excellent option for those not so keen on needles.

Treatments are complemented by suggestions to support clients’ lifestyle for better health and wellbeing.
