5 THINGS FOR A FRIDAY
I’m full of the cold – how are you feeling?
NEWSLETTER OUT NOW
The magazine is being worked on but we’ve done a wee newsletter while you wait https://www.stratherrickcommunity.org.uk/userfiles/publications/47.pdf
The newsletter is about funding and how we can help. I’m pleased to hear our fundraisers helped Stratherrick Hall get the additional funds required from another source for the electrical work required for the entertainment licence after they had exhausted their £20,000 fund limit from the Trust in 2022/23. We pro actively helped the group with the short fall and I’m glad to hear it has been successful.
The website is being tweaked – with over 500 stories its creaking at the edges so bear with us!
YOUR HERITAGE
This looks like a great event on the shore of Loch Ness from the Heritage Group A WALK IN THE PASS/T | 30 August 2023 | Stratherrick & Foyers Community Trust (stratherrickcommunity.org.uk)
We are also planning a Community Fair and lunch on Saturday 23rd September in Stratherrick Hall from 11am to 2pm to see and chat through all the current community projects that are going on and how you can get involved. Save the date and more details soon.
LINE DANCING
I have been known to do a bit of line dancing in Nashville but this has been causing quite a stir on social media and looks like a lot of fun Ever fancied Line Dancing? | 29 August 2023 | Stratherrick & Foyers Community Trust (stratherrickcommunity.org.uk)
PATHWAYS
The Pathways Group have launched another of their weekly walks here and are going to report to the Board what they are up to on Wednesday night Walk the Walks! | 23 August 2023 | Stratherrick & Foyers Community Trust (stratherrickcommunity.org.uk) . They are certainly one of the most pro active groups to come out of the Community Action Plan and we are looking forward to hearing about what they have planned.

The very last Car Boot Sale of the summer happens at the Wildside Centre on Saturday 9th September from 10am to 1pm.
